I have somehow managed to be an ilikeitstraighttothepoint addict... must be a case of the Sundays.

I loved this. I just remembered it. Discovered it over the summer. Make sure to watch the "first season" before anything. I found it purrrdy darn hilarious. ...ha ha ha.

This one's by The Black Heart Gang. Very interesting animation. The song's sliiightly scary, but it amused me nevertheless.

If you haven't seen this already, it is an interesting portrayal of Adam and Eve. It's directed Mirai Mizue - really young Japanese fellow.

Shawshank Redemption (1994)
Hands down one of the most moving films I have ever seen in my life. The characters are fearsome things to behold - sure - but they are admirable nevertheless.

Whale Rider (2005)
Poignant film set in New Zealand. Do not be fooled by the cheesy looking trailer. Watch it, and it will stir you - I guarantee.

El laberinto del fauno (2006)
An interesting take of the Franco period. Guillermo del Toro masterpiece.

Cidade de Deus (2002)
The very thought of this movie makes me shiver. The dirt is real, and that's what makes the movie so fascinating. It shows life as it is and life as it was.

I am including a bit of Chris Jordan in this list, because I find the images to be refreshing. Fashion photography is almost always strong and aesthetically pleasing... however, this includes a little extra. Jordan uses photography as a tool of making the masses aware of unhealthy consumerism.

If you guys haven't already watched Radiohead's House of Cards, you should definitely check it out. Now, it may look very confusing and trippy, but I'd suggest to do a little extra research to discover why the video is unique. Innovation, Innovation, Innovation...

Ok...here is our blog. We'll talk better on thursday about it, but the idea is to use it a place to post stuff we like, doubts, questions and also the list of things I asked you to bring every class (a director, a movie, a photographer, etc...).
